Guardian Telecom Ltd. was incorporated in February 2023 and acquired the operations of the Telecom division of Circa Enterprises Inc., a Canadian publicly-traded corporation, through a go-private transaction.

Guardian Telecom Ltd. is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Its head office, operations and warehousing are in a 33,000 square foot facility, with all corporate and operational functions, including design, support and a laboratory.
Guardian products are proudly Canadian made with a talented and experienced workforce. Our culturally-diverse staff has decades of experience in design, manufacturing and product knowledge.

Calgary, AB – Circa Enterprises Inc. (TSVX-CTO) (“Circa”), a manufacturer of equipment for the telecommunication, electrical utility, and construction industries, announced today that is has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Teletics Inc. (“Teletics”), a manufacturer and supplier of fully monitored, ruggedized wireless voice and data devices. The business will operate as a separate business line within the Telecom segment of Circa Enterprises Inc.

Guardian Telecom to provide communications package for Toronto Transit Project
Guardian Telecom, a division of Circa Enterprises Inc., is pleased to announce it will design and build ruggedized telecommunications equipment in collaboration with Allstream Business Inc. to deliver Public Assistance and Safety Communications packages for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Project in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Together Guardian Telecom and Allstream designed nine custom engineered solutions for the Eglinton Crosstown project that will meet stringent architectural, technical, regulatory and environmental requirements so that transit users are provided a safe and reliable communication system. Guardian designs and manufactures it’s telephony products at its Calgary Alberta facility and its structural stanchions and enclosures at its Vaughan, Ontario facility.

Metrolinx is building the Eglinton Crosstown, Toronto’s new 19-kilometre light rail transit (LRT) line that will run along Eglinton Avenue with a central 10 km underground section. The Crosstown will connect Mount Dennis in the west to Kennedy Road in the east, and the new service will be up to 60% faster than the bus service today.
