The System Zone Manager (SZM) is a crucial component of Guardian Telecom’s Hybrid PAGA/Page Talk System Control Frame (SCF) within the In2iT In-Plant Communications Platform. It serves as the audio hub of the system, providing the key service of routing page and talk conference lines within facility zones. The SZM features a modular design with each chassis supporting up to 12 zone module cards, making it highly scalable and adaptable to various facility sizes and communication needs.
Reliable, Flexible & Capable
The SZM is designed with reliability and flexibility in mind. It includes integrated line balancing to eliminate noise as system configuration changes and supports a wide range power input range (90VAC – 250VAC). The system is managed via the SCF server and controlled through the Operator Access Panel (OAP) graphical user interface, allowing for user-configurable operations and routing parameters. Additionally, the SZM features advanced page management capabilities, including Page => Alarm Override and Alarm => Page Override functionalities. Its standard 3U rack mount configuration with easy-carry handles makes it convenient for installation and maintenance in various industrial environments.
